Home Learning
We aim for our home learning to reflect our approach to learning in school – to be practical, fun and very much driven by the children. As a result, we publish a weekly ‘curriculum overview’ per year group which is sent home to parents at the end of the week. This summarises the learning for the coming week and highlights possible activities to carry out at home, key questions and useful vocabulary. These are also uploaded each week onto the relevant year group’s curriculum page of the website.

During the normal school day, as we run continuous provision for children, we provide opportunities for them to practise the key skills for their age. We do this in a variety of ways each day as these are the most important things that children need to master in order to move their learning on. As part of our Remote Learning provision, we have summarised the ‘Top Ten’ key skills for each year group and have provided examples of what your could do to practise these at home. These will be updated every half term and will be available or either whole-class or individual remote learning.
