At The Limes Primary Academy all children engage in weekly Spanish lessons with our school's Spanish lead.

Our Spanish curriculum aims to inspire a love for languages, broaden horizons and connect children with a different culture. We ensure children are given the opportunity to develop their communication skills through oracy, listening, reading, and writing to build a strong language foundation.

We celebrate diversity and cultural awareness by exposing children to Spanish traditions, holidays, public figures and landmarks. This enriches their understanding and appreciation of the world, promoting empathy and respect for others.

Learning Spanish at The Limes Primary Academy is not just about acquiring language skills; it is about shaping well-rounded, thoughtful, empathetic individuals who are prepared to contribute positively to society. By the end of their time with us at The Limes, children will have a foundational understanding of the Spanish language and culture and be confident in their ability to engage in basic conversations, read simple texts, and write basic Spanish phrases.
