Music
Music plays a vital role in supporting children's creativity, confidence and overall development.
At The Limes, we deliver our music curriculum through Charanga's Original Scheme. The scheme supports delivery of the statutory requirements of the National Curriculum for Music and provides opportunities for pupils to perform, compose, listen to, review and evaluate music across a range of genres, styles and historical periods.
Pupils learn to sing and use their voices as an instrument alongside creating and composing music independently and collaboratively using a variety of musical instruments. Charanga is a multi-award-winning music education programme used by primary schools across the UK.
