We know that starting a new school, or even a new class, can be a nervous time for both children and their parents.  We endeavour to support all through this time, be it starting in Nursery or Reception with us, starting at The Limes mid-way through a child’s school life, starting a new class each year, or, ultimately, moving on to high school.  Below are a number of useful documents and ideas to help with each of these transitions.

The Limes Nursery

Our nursery is available to children from the term after their third birthday and all three to four year olds are eligible for Early Education Funding for up to 15 hours per week over the thirty-eight week school year.

We also offer 30 hours if you have an eligible 30 hour childcare code. This extended entitlement is designed to support working parents.  More information can be found here.

We offer parents the option of flexible sessions.

These sessions consist of a morning session, afternoon session or the option of all day. Children who attend all day would need to attend our lunch club, unless collected for lunch.

Morning

8.30am to 11.30am

Afternoon 

12.20pm - 3.20pm

All Day (including lunch club)

8.30am - 3.20pm

Lunch Club

11.30am - 12.20pm

The charge for lunch club is £2.50, or £4.50 if you choose for your child to have a school lunch.
